Is PTE easier than IELTS? The honest answer for Pakistani students.
PTE is not objectively easier than IELTS — it suits a different student profile. PTE Academic is fully computer-based with AI scoring, has a single 2-hour test session, and gives results in 2 to 5 days. IELTS uses human examiners for Speaking and gives results in 3 to 13 days. Pakistani students who are confident with computers, prefer consistent AI scoring, and want fast results often find PTE easier. Students who prefer a real human conversation in Speaking often find IELTS easier.
